MEP Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a technically strong MEP Engineer to conduct inspections of common area building systems, particularly MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) infrastructure. The role involves identifying defects, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality audit reports with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct snag audits and inspections of common area facilities including:
- Electrical systems (LT panels, DG, lighting, etc.)
- Mechanical systems (pumps, HVAC, STP, WTP, etc.)
- Plumbing systems and utilities
- Identify defects, non-compliances, and operational gaps in building infrastructure
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports with photographs, observations, risk categorization, and recommendations
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory compliance, and best practices
- Perform energy audits and suggest energy-saving and sustainability initiatives
- Evaluate asset performance and recommend preventive and corrective actions
- Coordinate with facility teams and clients for audit discussions and closure tracking
- Maintain audit documentation and records systematically
Reporting & Documentation
- Develop high-quality reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Create dashboards, summaries, and visual presentations for clients and management
- Present audit findings confidently to stakeholders
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building infrastructure
- Good understanding of energy efficiency and sustainable practices
- Excellent analytical and observation skills
- Strong report writing and documentation ability
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting)
- Microsoft PowerPoint (professional presentations)
- Good communication and presentation skills

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related field
- 25 years of experience in facility management, MEP audits, or building inspections preferred
- Experience in energy audits or green building practices is an added advantage
