Role Description

The MEP Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across warehouse and retail infrastructure projects. This role oversees project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution, ensuring MEP activities align with design specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. The MEP Project Manager coordinates with internal design and engineering teams, site supervisors, contractors, and vendors to manage submittals, approvals, and material procurement. Daily activities include monitoring site progress, resolving technical issues, conducting inspections, preparing status reports, and ensuring timely project completion in line with client expectations. The role also involves risk management, adherence to regulatory and compliance norms, and continuous communication with stakeholders to maintain project transparency.

Qualifications

  • Strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) expertise, including practical experience in plumbing systems and integrated building services.
  • Proficiency in project management, including planning, scheduling, coordination of submittals, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation for construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, safety standards, and best practices for industrial, warehouse, or retail environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead on-site teams, manage contractors, and ensure quality and timely delivery across multiple projects.
  • Effective communication, documentation, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in project management and office software tools.
  • Experience working with large-scale clients in logistics, e-commerce, or similar sectors is preferred.
