Key Responsibilities:
Design & Planning
- Lead the preparation, review, and approval of MEP designs, layouts, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders for integrated solutions.
Project Execution & Supervision
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ensure all works are executed as per approved designs, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during project execution.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, site engineers, and contractors on MEP works.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure smooth project delivery and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and risk management measures on-site.
- Perform regular audits to maintain quality standards.
- Recommend preventive maintenance and system improvements for optimal performance.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive records of designs, approvals, site reports, and technical documentation.
- Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, and status reports for management and clients.
- Provide guidance on technical matters and solutions for MEP systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in MEP design, coordination, and execution in construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other design/drafting tools.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
