MEP Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC/MEP Draftsman with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. The ideal candidate should

have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC/MEP drafting domain, with proficiency in AutoCAD. Proficiency in Revit MEP will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality shop drawings and as-built drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using AutoCAD.

Create presentation drawings for tender submissions and internal coordination.

Develop detailed layouts for:

o Pumps (booster, transfer, submersible)

o Piping systems (soil, waste, water supply)

o Kitchen and bathroom installations

o HVAC systems (FCUs, AHUs, FAHUs, chillers, cooling towers)

o Fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, jockey/electric pumps)

Modify and adapt ductwork and chilled water piping plans as per site conditions and engineering requirements.

Collaborate with design engineers, MEP coordinators, and project managers to ensure alignment with project specifications.

Gather field data and prepare accurate as-built drawings reflecting the actual site conditions.

Support preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and verify equipment schedules based on approved technical submittals.

Maintain drawing accuracy, standard compliance, and timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate with other draftsmen and project stakeholders to ensure consistent and quality output.

Assist MEP engineers with technical clarification and update documentation as required during project execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

Working knowledge of Revit MEP is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.

Strong understanding of MEP systems, components, and drafting practices.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.

Effective communication and coordination skills.
