Role Description The MEP BIM Faculty will deliver structured training on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) BIM concepts, tools, and workflows to learners at different skill levels. This full-time, on-site role in Kozhikode involves designing course content, preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom and lab sessions, and providing hands-on guidance using industry-standard BIM software. The faculty member will assess learner performance, provide constructive feedback, and support learners with project-based assignments and portfolio development. In addition, the role includes updating training materials to reflect current industry practices, collaborating with other trainers on curriculum improvements, and contributing to Insight BIM's knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong MEP and BIM expertise, including practical experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in BIM environments.
- Proficiency with leading BIM tools (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar) and familiarity with 3D modeling, coordination, and clash detection workflows.
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or corporate training, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
- Knowledge of construction documentation, industry standards, and BIM project workflows, including collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail in lesson planning and assessment.
- Relevant academic background in engineering, architecture, or a related field; professional certifications in BIM or MEP design are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, maintain a professional learning environment, and stay current with emerging BIM technologies and practices.
