We are seeking a dynamic and industry-oriented Mentor Airline & Airport Management who can train, guide, and prepare students for careers in the aviation and airport ecosystem.
Role Overview
The Mentor will be responsible for delivering aviation-focused academic content, providing practical industry exposure, and supporting student career readiness in airline and airport operations. The role requires strong domain expertise, effective classroom delivery, and a passion for student development.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery
- Teach core subjects including:
- Airport Operations and Terminal Management
- Airline Business and Revenue Management
- Aviation Safety and Security
- Ground Handling and Ramp Operations
- Aviation Law and Regulatory Framework (DGCA, ICAO, IATA basics)
- Cargo and Logistics Management
- Reservation and Ticketing Systems (CRS/DCS)
- Prepare structured lesson plans, presentations, case studies, and assessment materials.
- Conduct practical sessions, simulations, and industry-oriented workshops.
- Ensure alignment with university curriculum standards and FACE Prep pedagogy.
Student Mentorship
- Guide students on academic projects, internships, and industry exposure.
- Provide career counselling for aviation-related roles.
- Support placement readiness, including interview preparation, grooming, and communication skills.
- Mentor students on professional behaviour and employability competencies.
Academic Administration
- Maintain attendance, internal assessments, and academic records.
- Coordinate with industry experts for guest lectures and workshops.
- Contribute to curriculum enhancement and departmental development.
- Support institutional and FACE Prep academic processes.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- MBA / BBA / Master's Degree in Aviation Management, Airline and Airport Management, Airport Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- NET / SET qualification preferred as per university norms, where applicable.
Experience
- 15 years of teaching experience in Aviation or Airport Management preferred,
- or
- Minimum 23 years of relevant industry experience in airlines, airports, ground handling companies, or travel and cargo operations.
