Mendix Lead Developer

• We are seeking a highly skilled Mendix Lead Developer & Architect to join our digital transformation team.
• In this dual role, you will lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable Mendix low-code applications.
• You will also be responsible for mentoring developers, setting development standards, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable Mendix solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Define reusable components, modules, and templates to accelerate development.
• Set and enforce Mendix architecture and design patterns, best practices, and coding standards. Development Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a team of Mendix developers throughout the SDLC.
• Oversee technical implementation, code reviews, and deployment processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in Mendix application delivery. Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and define application roadmaps.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and design documents. Platform Governance & DevOps:
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps practices for Mendix applications.
• Establish performance monitoring and application health metrics.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Mendix, including 2+ years in a lead or architect role.
• Certified Mendix Advanced Developer (Expert certification is a big plus).
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, integration (REST/SOAP), and database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with Mendix ATS, Mendix Data Hub, and Mendix Workflow is preferred.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating Mendix with SAP, Salesforce, or legacy systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Mendix Test Automation Tools like MTA.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles in low-code environments.
