We are looking for a Memory Design Engineer with hands-on experience in CMOS memory design and custom digital circuit development. The role involves design, simulation, verification, and silicon validation of memory IPs including SRAM, ROM, and Register Files.
The engineer will work on circuit-level implementation, layout interaction, post-layout verification, and silicon characterization to ensure robust and high-performance memory IP delivery.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop CMOS memory architectures such as SRAM, ROM, and Register Files
- Design memory building blocks including decoders, sense amplifiers, and write drivers
- Perform custom digital circuit design, schematic entry, and simulation
- Execute functional simulations and perform statistical analysis of results
- Drive custom layout implementation and perform post-layout simulations
- Perform memory IP sign-off for test chips
- Support silicon validation and characterization of memory IP
- Analyze trade-offs between performance, power, area, accuracy, and speed
- Work closely with layout, validation, and process teams
- Qualifications & Skills
Required Experience
- 46 years of hands-on experience in memory circuit design
- Experience in SRAM, ROM, or Register File design is mandatory
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of CMOS circuit design principles
- Experience with schematic design and simulation using industry-standard EDA tools
- Experience in functional and statistical simulation analysis
- Understanding of post-layout simulation and parasitic extraction
- Knowledge of Planar CMOS and FinFET technologies
- Exposure to advanced nodes; GAAFET knowledge is a plus
