Position Overview

As a member of the Siemens PowerPro core R&D team, you will develop the software engines that power RTL and gate-level power estimation. Your focus will be on driving the architecture of new features, building applications to aid power analysis, and developing high-performance algorithms for simulation and power estimation. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers and early-career engineers to grow their technical expertise in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize core C++ software applications for RTL and gate-level power analysis and estimation.
  • Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of new features within the power estimation product line.
  • Design efficient algorithms to handle and process large simulation waveforms, switching activity data, and design netlists.
  • Explore and integrate AI/ML techniques to improve the performance, scalability, and accuracy of core power estimation models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of C++, STL, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
  • Basic understanding of digital design concepts using Verilog or VHDL.
  • 0+ years of experience (freshers and entry-level candidates welcome).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Tcl, Python, Perl, Sed, or Awk is a plus.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools, logic simulation, or hardware waveform formats is desirable.
