Company Description HackHalt Cyber Intelligence Council is a Section 8 non-profit company dedicated to combating cybercrime globally and strengthening digital safety for individuals, businesses, and government entities. The organization focuses on pioneering AI-driven cyber intelligence and advanced research to proactively anticipate and address emerging threats. Its work is guided by a four-pillar strategy emphasizing Prevention, Education, Detection, and Rapid Response. Supported by a network of more than 40 global partners and having trained over 10,000 individuals by 2026, HackHalt is actively building resilient cyber ecosystems and a future-ready cyber workforce.
Role Description The Member of the Board of Advisors – Probono is a full-time, remote role focused on providing strategic guidance to HackHalt Cyber Intelligence Council's leadership and initiatives. The advisor will participate in board meetings, review organizational plans, and offer insight on financial sustainability, partnerships, and program effectiveness. Daily activities may include evaluating research and training proposals, advising on fundraising strategies, and supporting outreach and marketing efforts to strengthen the organization's impact and visibility. The advisor will collaborate with other board members and senior team members to ensure alignment with the four-pillar strategy and long-term mission. While this is a probono role, the position offers significant opportunity to influence global cyber resilience and capacity building.
Qualifications

• Strong Finance expertise with the ability to advise on budgets, resource allocation, and long-term financial planning.
• Advanced Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to evaluate cyber intelligence initiatives, impact metrics, and strategic opportunities.
• Proven experience in Fundraising, including donor engagement, grant development, and strategic partnership cultivation.
• Background in Marketing to support brand positioning, public communication, and stakeholder outreach in the cyber and non-profit sectors.
• Experience in governance or serving on advisory boards, preferably within technology, cybersecurity, or non-profit organizations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, global team environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to cyber safety, digital rights, or public-interest technology is highly beneficial.
• Relevant academic or professional background in finance, business, cybersecurity, public policy, or a related field.
