We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to support testing, release readiness, and quality validation across business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to define test strategy, execute test plans, identify risks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

This role requires strong test design and execution skills, clear communication, ownership, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment. Strong manual testing experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud is required. Experience with automation, Salesforce integrations, and Agile delivery is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to create and execute test plans and coordinate release activities.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements and are delivered with high quality.
  • Participate actively in grooming sessions, requirement reviews, and story discussions to understand business intent, identify gaps, and improve testability.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios using test management tools.
  • Develop and maintain validation strategies for functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Execute test plans and report defects, risks, dependencies, and testing outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Document, track, and follow through on defects using bug tracking tools to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform regression, integration, cross-browser, and end-to-end testing as needed.
  • Support release readiness and post-release validation, including code freeze and post-deployment verification.
  • Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of test automation frameworks.
  • Contribute to dashboard creation, management updates, and test status reporting.
  • Raise risks, blockers, and test impact clearly when requirements change or scope shifts.
  • Work closely with developers, BSAs, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Continuously improve QA practices, test coverage, and execution quality.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5years of experience in a Test engineering role.
  • Strong have manual testing experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud (Salesforce Sales Cloud (Navigation ,validations, Permission sets/groups ,Reports creation etc)
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodology.
  • Good experience in test case design, test execution, and defect management.
  • Ability to think beyond the happy path and design tests for positive, negative, edge, and business-critical scenarios.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to participate constructively in meetings, ask targeted questions, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Experience preparing dashboards, management updates, and status reports.
  • Experience with test automation tools and technologies such as Java, Selenium/playwright, and API testing.
