Job Description

Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 3-5+ years of experience, particularly in backend development with Java, Python, Microservices, REST APIs, Experience with Git, Docker and Agile methodologies, cloud exposure and testing and reporting framework is often desired.
As a Member of Technical Staff (IC2) in our team, you ll be responsible for, and lead efforts in, designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software cloud components, services and tools towards our Semantic database for health care applications. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers.
As a technical leader on the team, you will own the complete software development lifecycle, from design, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.
Java development experience is required along with deep knowledge and experience on RDBMS, Vector DB and Big data technologies. Other recommended tools and technologies may include Rest APIs, Maven, Jenkins among others.
Hands on Java developer with in-depth knowledge on JVM internals and performance tuning.
Demonstrated understanding of cloud native architecture and experience with either AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is desired.
Experience with identity and access management concepts would be very valuable but is not required.
