Role Purpose:
We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff I– AWS Architect with 18-10 years of experience to design, build, and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will drive cloud architecture strategy, lead modernization initiatives, and work closely with engineering, product, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
The responsibilities we entrust you
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure AWS cloud architectures.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises and legacy platforms.
- Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Architect containerized and microservices-based applications using Kubernetes/EKS and Docker.
- Ensure cloud security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements are met.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership across engineering teams.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to strategic technology decisions.
Wha mattters in this role:
- 8–10 years of overall experience with at least 5+ years in AWS architecture.
- Strong expertise in AWS services including:
- EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Aurora
- Lambda, API Gateway
- ECS/EKS
- CloudWatch, IAM, Route 53
- DynamoDB, ElastiCache
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity management.
- Experience designing distributed, high-volume, highly available systems.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
- Experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, SaaS, or Product-based organizations.
- Exposure to GCP cloud environment
- Knowledge of data platforms, analytics, and event-driven architectures.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
