Steelmaking Operations
- Operated as LRF Melter in the Steel Melting Shop, producing Mild Steel, Carbon Steel, and Alloy Steels.
- Managed steel production processes from Induction Furnace to Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF).
- Carried out secondary steelmaking at Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) and refined in LRF and Vacuum Degassing (VD) units, each with 35 MT capacity.
- Gained in-depth hands-on experience with AOD furnace for processing different alloy steel grades.
- Controlled heat processing for steel grades including Semi Free Cutting, Ball Bearing, Titanium, Low Carbon, Medium Carbon, Ni & Mo heats.
Process Control & Quality Management
- Developed and optimized processes for various steel grades in accordance with ISO/TS standards.
- Handled complete SMS processes, ensuring product quality, consistency, and yield.
- Made decisions on pass schedules for different steel grades and implemented grade-specific activities.
- Implemented preventive actions to minimize breakdowns and increase machine availability.
- Coordinated with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.
Reporting & Documentation
- Generated daily production and monthly performance reports for internal analysis and decision-making.
- Maintained documentation for ISO 9001 compliance and ensured adherence to quality management systems.
- Analyzed performance and delay reports to enhance process efficiency and reduce downtime.
Manpower & Resource Management
