We are seeking an experienced HCL Commerce (formerly IBM WebSphere Commerce) Senior Developer to design, develop, customize, and support enterprise-scale eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in HCL Commerce architecture, Java/J2EE technologies, integrations, and storefront customization, with the ability to deliver scalable and high-performing eCommerce applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain HCL Commerce (WCS) applications and storefront solutions.
• Customize and enhance HCL Commerce components based on business requirements.
• Develop and support catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order management functionalities.
• Create and maintain REST/SOAP services and integrations with external systems.
• Develop and customize:
• Storefronts
• Catalog Management
• Search and Navigation
• Promotions Engine
• Member Management
• Orders and Payments
• Work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Develop reusable components and follow best coding practices.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Support production deployments and resolve critical issues.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
