Role Description The Medical Superintendent at Sterling Hospitals Gandhidham will oversee clinical operations, ensure adherence to medical standards, and promote high-quality patient care. This full-time, on-site role involves coordinating with medical, nursing, and administrative teams to optimize workflow, resource utilization, and patient safety. The Medical Superintendent will implement clinical protocols, monitor compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, and drive quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include managing medical staff scheduling, handling escalated clinical concerns, supervising infection control practices, and supporting emergency preparedness. The role also requires participation in strategic planning, mentoring clinical teams, and fostering a collaborative, ethical, and patient-centered work environment.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree with postgraduate qualification MBA/MHA
  • Proven experience in hospital administration or clinical leadership, preferably as a Medical Superintendent or in a similar senior role in a multi-speciality hospital.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital operations, clinical governance, quality assurance, and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH, NABL).
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage change, and promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills, with a patient-centric and ethically grounded approach.
  • Proficiency in healthcare policies, regulatory requirements, and medico-legal guidelines relevant to hospital practice in India.
  • Experience in resource planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring within a hospital setting is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Gandhidham and be available for clinical and administrative oversight as required.

Salary budget

10 Lac CTC to 15 Lac CTC P.A.
