About The Opportunity

We operate in the Healthcare sector, delivering end-to-end hospital and clinical services across multi-specialty inpatient and outpatient care. This on-site leadership role is focused on driving clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across a tertiary-care facility in India.

We are seeking an experienced clinical leader to act as the Medical Superintendent and provide strategic, operational, and medical oversight to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and strong regulatory performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and govern day-to-day medical operations across departments to ensure consistent, evidence-based patient care.
  • Drive clinical governance: implement quality frameworks, lead medical audits, monitor KPIs, and champion patient-safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH), coordinate inspections, and remediate regulatory findings.
  • Oversee infection control, emergency preparedness, and clinical risk management programs to minimise adverse events and medico-legal exposure.
  • Collaborate with administration on resource planning, departmental budgeting, workforce rostering, and performance reviews for medical staff.
  • Mentor and develop clinical teams, lead multidisciplinary committees, and liaise with external stakeholders including health authorities and insurers.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS with MD/DNB or equivalent post-graduate qualification in a relevant clinical specialty.
  • Proven leadership experience in a hospital setting with responsibility for clinical governance and operational oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital accreditation and regulatory compliance (NABH, healthcare statutory requirements).
  • Experience implementing infection-control programs, medical audits, and patient-safety systems.
  • Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS), clinical documentation standards, and KPI-driven reporting.

Preferred

  • Prior role as Medical Superintendent, Medical Director, or senior clinical administrator in a multi-specialty facility.
  • Training or certification in hospital administration, quality management, or patient-safety frameworks.
  • Experience managing third-party payer relationships, medico-legal cases, or large-scale emergency responses.
