Job Description

Medical Science Liaison (MSL) — AI Training

About The Role

We're looking for experienced Medical Science Liaisons and medical affairs professionals to help evaluate and improve AI systems built on biomedical and clinical knowledge. Your scientific expertise will directly shape how AI understands, communicates, and applies complex medical information — making a real impact on the future of life-science AI.

This is a remote, flexible contract role ideal for MSLs, clinical educators, or scientific advisors who want to contribute their expertise beyond traditional field roles.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated medical and clinical content for scientific accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness for healthcare audiences
  • Validate complex clinical trial data, safety information, and medical narratives within AI outputs
  • Identify errors, gaps, or misleading scientific claims and provide structured, expert feedback
  • Help develop and assess scientific communication strategies grounded in real-world clinical evidence
  • Ensure AI-generated content meets the standards expected by healthcare professionals and medical affairs teams
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Background in medical affairs, clinical research, or scientific communications — MSL, clinical educator, medical advisor, or similar
  • Strong ability to interpret clinical data, peer-reviewed publications, and regulatory materials
  • Experience engaging healthcare professionals with complex scientific information
  • Excellent written communication skills — able to assess both the accuracy and the clarity of medical content
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working systematically across large sets of content
  • No prior AI or data annotation experience required

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in data annotation, content evaluation, or AI quality review
  • Familiarity with pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, or medical information functions
  • Advanced degree in a biomedical, pharmaceutical, or clinical discipline (MD, PharmD, PhD, etc.)

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and life-science organizations
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, from anywhere
  • Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
  • Contribute to meaningful work that improves how AI handles critical medical knowledge
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
