Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  1. Achieve and exceed sales targets of allocated territory/product by developing new business with existing and potential clients;
  2. Develop, maintain and apply a high level of product knowledge;
  3. Apply appropriate selling and negotiation skills to enhance performance and capitalise on sales opportunities to drive overall business growth;
  4. Actively monitor market trends through personal contact with customers and attend industry association meetings and seminars. Provide feedback to relevant managers on field intelligence;
  5. Identify and target key physicians and key allied healthcare professionals, winning concessions and maintaining relationships;
  6. In consultation with your manager, plan field activity based on customer segmentation and targeting principles to maximise results;
  7. Analyse territory and customer data, doctor call reports and track territory spend on a regular basis;
  8. Appraise current and planned customer needs and advise on the application of company products or services to customer requirements;
  9. Report on sales, activity and territory performance as required by the organisation;
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager from time-to-time.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Science or Business desirable - Optional
  2. Experience as a Medical Representative or alternative sales experience. Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  3. Experience with Specialist channel
  4. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  5. Possess a car and driving license
  6. IT – savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
