Urgent Hiring – Medical Retina Specialist

Location: Dehradun , Uttarakhand

Hospital Type: Eye Hospital / Advanced Eye Care Centre

Qualification

•MS/DNB Ophthalmology

•Fellowship in Medical Retina – Mandatory

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct Retina OPD consultations and comprehensive retinal evaluations

•Diagnose and manage diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), retinal detachment.

•Perform Intravitreal Injections, Retinal Laser procedures

•Interpret OCT, Fundus Fluorescein Angiography (FFA), Fundus Photography, and B-Scan findings

•Manage retinal emergencies and post-operative follow-up care

•Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis

•Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient care

•Coordinate with Cataract, Glaucoma, Cornea, and General Ophthalmology teams for multidisciplinary care

Skills Required

•Strong expertise in Medical Retina

•Good communication and patient counselling abilities

•Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach

•Ability to work independently in a high-volume eye care setup
