Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Oncologist to join our oncology team. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cancer using systemic therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy. The role requires strong clinical expertise, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a patient-centered approach to cancer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and stage patients with various malignancies.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
  • Administer and monitor systemic cancer therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal treatments.
  • Manage treatment-related side effects and complications.
  • Coordinate care with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and palliative care teams.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case discussions.
  • Provide patient counseling regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options.
  • Monitor disease progression and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage in clinical research, clinical trials, audits, and academic activities where applicable.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine or Pediatrics (as applicable).
  • DM/DNB in Medical Oncology (or equivalent recognized super-specialty qualification).
  • Valid medical license to practice.
  • Board certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 years of post-super-specialty experience in oncology practice.
