Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Duty Doctor based in Kovilpatti & Kalugumalai, Tamil Nadu, India. The Duty Doctor will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and managing treatments as per the medical protocols. Daily tasks include assessing patient health, documenting medical histories, prescribing medications, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. The role also involves handling medical emergencies with urgency and professionalism while ensuring high standards of patient safety.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, including patient assessment and medical record documentation
• Knowledge of emergency care and ability to manage various medical procedures
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality patient care
• MBBS degree from a recognized institution; certification and registration with the Medical Council of Tamilnadu
• Ability to work in shifts according to hospital requirements
