Role Description

This is a part-time, off-site role for a Medical Director for one language locale. The Medical Director will oversee the scientific accuracy of all published content, provide medical insights, and collaborate closely with writers and editors. Responsibilities include reviewing articles, consulting on specialized topics to ensure content credibility. The role also involves staying updated on developments in the fields of neurodegenerative diseases to guide content strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Neurology and Medicine, particularly in the field of neurodegenerative diseases
• Proven success in collaborative work with Physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Comprehensive understanding of the medical research process and the ability to translate complex scientific information into accessible terms
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent qualification; additional certifications in relevant specialties are advantageous
• Passion for science communication and public education
• Willingness to work pro bono for the benefit of the patients
