Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Devices Software Engineer (Technical Lead) to own end-to-end software development for regulated medical device products. This role involves technical leadership across requirements, design, implementation, verification, and release, with full responsibility for compliance-driven development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end medical device software development across the full lifecycle
- Define and review software requirements, architecture, and detailed design
- Drive coding and testing activities including unit, integration, and system testing
- Prepare and review test plans, protocols, and reports
- Own release management and software configuration control
- Lead and mentor a team of firmware / software engineers
- Ensure compliance with medical device regulatory standards
- Work closely with hardware and software test teams during development and validation
- Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables
- Take complete technical ownership of assigned projects
Required Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 810 years of experience in medical device software development
- Strong hands-on experience with C programming
- Proven experience working in regulated medical device environments
- Solid understanding of IEC 62304 and ISO 13485 compliance
- Experience leading software or firmware teams is mandatory
