Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and well-connected Regional Sales Manager – Government Business to lead institutional sales and market expansion initiatives across the region.
The ideal candidate will have strong relationships within government healthcare systems, procurement agencies, medical colleges, and medical device distribution networks, along with proven experience in government tenders and institutional healthcare sales. The role will play a key part in driving adoption of Cerebo within India's emergency and trauma care ecosystem.
Key ResponsibilitiesGovernment & Institutional Sales
- Drive sales across government hospitals, medical colleges, trauma centres, and state health departments
- Identify and pursue opportunities through GeM, central procurement bodies, and state medical procurement corporations
- Manage end-to-end tender participation, bid submissions, and institutional sales processes
Distributor Network Development
- Build and strengthen a distributor and channel partner network for institutional sales
- Identify and onboard high-quality regional distribution partners
- Support distributors through product training, positioning, and customer engagement activities
Market Development & Clinical Engagement
- Conduct product demonstrations and engage with neurosurgeons, emergency physicians, biomedical teams, and hospital administrators
- Develop strategic relationships with key healthcare stakeholders and institutional decision-makers
- Facilitate pilot deployments and convert them into long-term institutional procurements
Sales Execution & Coordination
- Achieve annual revenue and business development targets for the government and institutional segment
- Maintain strong sales pipeline visibility and forecasting discipline
- Coordinate with internal teams on pricing, tender documentation, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4–10 years of experience in medical device, healthcare technology, or hospital equipment sales
- Strong experience in government and institutional healthcare sales
- Demonstrated success in handling government tenders and institutional procurement processes
- Established relationships with government hospitals, procurement agencies, and state health departments, distributors and relevant networks
- Strong dealer/distributor network within the healthcare sector
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories
Experience in selling products such as patient monitoring systems, diagnostic devices, imaging equipment, critical care products, or emergency medical technologies will be an added advantage.
