Job Title: Medical Counsellor

Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Medical Counsellor to join our team and based at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills. The candidate will be responsible for assisting orthopaedic doctors, counselling patients, ensuring proper follow-ups, and supporting doctors in patient care. The ideal candidate should have a strong science background such as Nutrition & Dietetics, Homeopathy, Physiotherapy, or related healthcare fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counselling to patients regarding their medical conditions, treatments, and lifestyle changes
- Maintain regular follow-ups with patients (in-person/telephonic)
- Assist doctors in managing patient cases and ensuring smooth coordination
- Educate patients about diet, medication adherence, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress
- Support in patient engagement programs and health awareness initiatives
- Handle patient queries and provide emotional support when required
- Coordinate with hospital departments for better patient care
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Background:
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Life Sciences
- OR Degree/Diploma in Dietetics, Homeopathy, Physiotherapy, or related field
- Experience:
- 13 years
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care
Skills Required:

- Basic clinical understanding
- Follow-up and coordination skills
- Record keeping & documentation
Preferred Candidate:
- Experience in hospital or clinic setting is an advantage
