Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Medical Coding Quality Assurance role located in Noida. The primary responsibility of the role is to assess and ensure the quality and accuracy of medical coding for patient records while adhering to applicable medical guidelines and standards. The professional will review coded medical records, verify compliance with regulations, identify coding errors, and provide feedback for improvements. Collaboration with the coding team, staying current with coding standards, and assisting in audits are also key responsibilities for this role.
Qualifications
- Prior professional Coding Experience and proficiency in Medical Coding
- Knowledge of Health Information Management processes and Medical Terminology
- Certified as RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) or equivalent qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and rectify inaccuracies
- Ability to work efficiently in an on-site environment and collaborate with team members
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards related to medical coding
- Experience in maintaining data confidentiality and handling sensitive information securely
