- Provide training, mentoring, and support for all coding requirements within the organization.
- Lead and manage a team of coders, ensuring productivity and quality exceed client expectations.
- Oversee project transitions across multiple medical specialties.
- Make timely and effective decisions while working independently.
- Conduct research and analysis to resolve complex coding issues using multiple information sources.
- Act as a trainer and mentor to enhance coder performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to understand requirements and meet expectations.
- Develop and maintain coding guidelines and documentation based on CMS, Medicare, and commercial payer standards.
- Lead client calls to discuss coding deliverables, quality metrics, and production updates.
- Manage multispecialty coding teams, including team leaders and managers.
