Position: Medical Coder – Fresher

Experience: 0–1 Year / Freshers

Training: Candidates without prior medical coding training can apply

Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / BPT / Nursing / Life Science / Allied Health Science or relevant healthcare background

Job Responsibilities

• Review and understand patient medical records and clinical documentation.
• Understand medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and disease processes.
• Ensure coding accuracy and follow client/company coding guidelines.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Participate in training, assessments and regular knowledge updates.
• Identify documentation gaps and escalate coding-related queries when required.

Eligibility

• Fresh graduates from healthcare, life science or allied health backgrounds.
• No prior medical coding experience or training required.
• Good understanding of basic medical terminology is an advantage.
• Good English communication and comprehension skills.
• Willingness to learn medical coding and healthcare processes.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work in a team and meet quality/productivity targets
