Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Coder/Senior Coder specializing in IPDRG (Inpatient Diagnosis-Related Group) coding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes to ensure accurate billing and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review inpatient medical records and assign appropriate ICD and DRG codes.
• Ensure coding accuracy and adherence to quality and compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and internal teams to clarify documentation.
• Meet daily/weekly productivity and quality benchmarks.
• Keep up-to-date with industry coding updates and best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of coding experience in IPDRG.
• Certification in medical coding (AHIMA, AAPC, or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, DRG logic, and MS-DRG grouping.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
