We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Coder for our Dialysis department. This role is suitable for freshers or entry-level candidates who are interested in starting their career in medical coding and healthcare services.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze patient medical records to ensure accurate coding of dialysis procedures.
Assign appropriate codes to diagnoses and procedures based on established coding guidelines.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding discrepancies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations and compliance standards.
Assist in the preparation of reports and statistics related to coding and billing.
Support the billing department in resolving any coding-related queries.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field (UG) or Master's degree (PG) preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to dialysis.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and coding processes.
Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in coding software.
