Job Summary
We are looking forMedical Coders / Senior Medical Coders / QAwith strong expertise inRadiology and Interventional Radiology (IVR) coding. The role requires accurate ICD-10-CM coding, adherence to official coding guidelines, and maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign accurateICD-10-CM codesfor Radiology and IVR cases in compliance with coding guidelines
- Review and abstract required clinical information from medical records
- Code simple and complexInterventional Radiology (IVR)cases
- Maintain productivity standards of79 charts per hour
- Achieve and maintain95% or higher quality accuracy
- Follow client-specific guidelines and updates while coding charts
- Use coding tools and systems such asEncoder, MS Office
- Exposure toExcode and ImageNowis an added advantage
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Any graduate withRadiology / IVR medical coding experience
- CIRCC / CPC / CCS / COC certification Mandatory
- 14 years of experiencein medical coding (Radiology/IVR preferred)
- Strong knowledge ofRadiology and Interventional Radiology coding
- Thorough understanding ofmedical anatomy, physiology, and terminology
- Working knowledge ofICD-10-CM Official Coding Guidelines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
