Description

We are seeking detail-oriented Medical Coder specializing in Radiology to join our team in Nungambakkam, Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing radiology reports and coding medical records accurately to ensure proper billing and compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of coding practices and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. We are into physician billing provider side.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records and radiology reports to assign appropriate codes for billing and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any discrepancies in medical records.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding practices and changes in regulations.
• Process claims for reimbursement accurately and efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to radiology.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in coding and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is preferred.

Salary : Will be matched according to previous salary and experience.

Shift Timing: Dayshift (Sat and Sun off)
