Role Description

This is a full-time, role for a Medical Coder, located in Chennai. The primary responsibilities include reviewing medical records, translating medical services into standardized codes, ensuring accurate documentation, and adhering to coding standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical coding standards, including ICD, CPT, and HCPCS
• Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement processes and regulations
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with healthcare providers and team members
• Coding certifications such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent are preferred
• Proficiency in medical coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Prior experience in medical coding is advantageous
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
