We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with coding regulations. This position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in medical coding.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses, procedures, and services provided to patients.
• Assign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes based on documentation.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify ambiguous documentation and coding issues.
• Stay updated with the latest coding updates and practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Familiarity with coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and documentation.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals.

Salary Budget: 2-3 LPA

Location: Egmore, Chennai
