Role Description The Medical Biller – EHR-RCM (US Healthcare) is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves managing end-to-end medical billing processes for US-based healthcare clients, including claim creation, submission, follow-up, and payment posting within EHR and RCM systems. Responsibilities include reviewing patient information and clinical documentation, verifying insurance coverage, and applying appropriate ICD-10 codes to ensure accurate and compliant claims. The Medical Biller will analyze and resolve claim denials, communicate with insurance payers, and coordinate with internal teams to address billing issues and reduce accounts receivable days. The role also includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Medicare and other payer guidelines, monitoring billing performance metrics, and contributing to continuous process improvement in revenue cycle operations.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and clinical documentation relevant to US healthcare billing.
  • Hands-on experience working with Denials management, including analysis, resolution, and prevention strategies.
  • Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and familiarity with related coding and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of Insurance processes, payer policies, and reimbursement rules within the US healthcare system.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare regulations, coverage criteria, and billing requirements.
  • Experience with EHR and RCM platforms, preferably in a high-volume US medical billing environment.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with payers, providers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Relevant education in healthcare administration, medical billing, or a related field; certification in medical billing or coding is an advantage.
