Role Description The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing the complete billing cycle, including claim creation, submission, follow-up, and payment posting for healthcare providers. Daily tasks include verifying patient information and insurance coverage, reviewing clinical documentation for accurate coding, and resolving claim denials and rejections in a timely manner. The role involves coordinating with insurance companies, internal teams, and, when required, clients to ensure correct reimbursement and compliance with billing regulations. The Medical Biller will maintain up-to-date records, generate basic reports, and contribute to process improvements in RCM operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashik.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of medical terminology and its application in billing and documentation.
Candidates should possess expertise in handling denials, including identifying root causes and executing corrective actions.
Candidates should possess working knowledge of ICD-10 coding and its use in claims submission and reimbursement.
Candidates should possess understanding of insurance processes, including eligibility, authorization, and claim adjudication.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Medicare rules, policies, and compliance requirements.
Candidates should possess proficiency with medical billing software and basic MS Office tools.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management skills.
Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with teams and payers.
Prior experience in medical billing or RCM is preferred; a background in healthcare administration, commerce, or related fields is beneficial.
