Medical AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize algorithms for medical imaging applications using AI and machine learning techniques.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to understand imaging needs and enhance diagnostic capabilities through AI solutions.
• Conduct research to stay updated with advancements in AI and imaging technologies, and implement them in projects.
• Work on data preprocessing, augmentation, and analysis to improve model performance and accuracy.
• Evaluate and validate AI models against industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document processes, findings, and progress to ensure clarity and transparency within the team.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-8 years of experience in AI/ML development, particularly in medical imaging or healthcare applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Experience with image processing libraries such as OpenCV or PIL.
• Familiarity with medical imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, or X-ray and their respective data formats.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
