Job Description
- We are looking for a Media Scan Executive to monitor and track political, news, and social media developments across Telangana. The ideal candidate should be highly attentive, quick at identifying important information, and capable of producing accurate and timely reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor newspapers, television, digital news portals, social media, and other relevant sources.
- Track political news, statements, controversies, government announcements, opposition activity, and constituency-level developments.
- Identify important news and trends relevant to assigned political campaigns.
- Prepare daily media scan reports and highlight high-priority developments.
- Track mentions of political leaders, parties, candidates, and key issues.
- Share breaking or high-impact developments with the relevant team immediately.
- Maintain organized records of media coverage and important references.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in media monitoring, political research, journalism, or digital media is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Telangana politics and current affairs.
- Excellent Telugu reading skills and good English/Hindi comprehension.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines.
- Good research, summarization, and reporting skills.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital monitoring tools.
Good to Have
- Experience in political campaigns or newsrooms.
- Social media monitoring experience.
- Knowledge of media monitoring platforms and Google Sheets/Excel.
