About the Role
The Media Sales Intern will support the sales team in promoting and selling integrated print, digital, event, and knowledge solutions to corporate clients. The role offers hands-on exposure to B2B media sales, industry networking, and business development within India's manufacturing and industrial ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- B2B Media Sales Support
- Identify and research potential corporate clients across manufacturing and industrial sectors
- Assist in selling print advertisements in magazines and special issues
- Promote digital marketing solutions including website banners, newsletters, webinars, and content marketing
- Generate and qualify sales leads through LinkedIn, databases, and industry research
- Sponsorship & Event Sales
- Support sales for:
- Industry conferences
- Webinars & virtual summits
- Awards & leadership forums
- Mototech and sector-specific events
- Assist in pitching sponsorship packages to brands and OEMs
- Coordinate with marketing and editorial teams for sponsor integration
- Subscription & Delegate Sales
- Promote magazine subscriptions to corporates and professionals
- Assist in selling:
- Delegate passes for conferences
- Workshop registrations
- Knowledge access programs
- Maintain subscriber and delegate databases
- Client Interaction & Relationship Building
- Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to prospective clients
- Schedule meetings and presentations for senior sales managers
- Maintain CRM records and follow-up tracking
- Support proposal preparation and sales documentation
- Market Intelligence
- Track industry developments, competitor media platforms, and advertising trends
- Identify emerging companies, OEMs, and technology suppliers for outreach
- Assist in preparing sales reports and pipeline updates
