Only Much Louder Entertainment is a market-leading, full-service creative and entertainment business network that has instigated pop culture for over two decades by creating iconic moments across television, digital content, fan experiences, branded entertainment, and in the artist-creator community. Celebrated for creating India's first multi-genre music festival, the NH7 Weekender, Only Much Louder has built India's independent music and comedy scene from the ground up. We won the first-ever Branded Content and Entertainment Cannes Lion for Dewarists and have been the first homegrown content business to have a strong footprint in over 22 countries.
Our businesses include:

- OML Talent: OML's legacy business representing over 90+ of the most influential creators, comedians, writers, and storytellers shaping India's entertainment landscape.
- OML Studios: India's premier production house developing original IPs for leading OTT platforms. Also helps brands conceptualise and produce original IPs, manage syndication and licensing.
- EighteenSixtyTwo: Bacardi's offsite content and advertising agency, with campaigns in 20+ countries, delivering top-tier creative and content marketing solutions.
- OML Sports: A creative content studio crafting high-impact ads, social media campaigns, and sportainment content for leading teams and leagues. We bring sports stories to life with innovative formats and audience-first storytelling.
Role Overview:
As a global leader in the spirits category, the client runs a variety of media plans across channels. We're looking for someone who can analyse the plans, question them constructively, and make sure that every rupee is being spent as sharply as possible.
This is a new individual contributor role. You will be the resident media expert, sitting out of the client's head office in Gurugram, working day to day with the brand managers, and co-ordinating with the respective media and analytics partners.
Key responsibilities:
- You will build, review, challenge and strengthen the media plans
- You will question the assumptions, the reach and frequency math, the channel mix, the measurement framework and the unit economics behind each plan.
- You will be the client's internal media conscience; building a clear understanding of what is being bought, what should be pushed back on, and where more efficiency can be driven.
- You will own the measurement framework. You will define what success looks like across campaigns, how it is tracked, and how the learnings from each campaign feed forward into the next plan.
- You will take ownership of ensuring that every plan is compliant with Indian alcohol advertising regulations, including surrogate rules, platform restrictions and category-specific constraints.
- You will work closely with content and creative agency partners to make sure brand campaigns integrate cleanly with the work already being delivered.
Qualifications and Prior Experience:
- 9-11 years of overall experience, of which 7+ years should be in a media role at an agency (GroupM, Publicis Media, Havas, IPG, dentsu or similar), or as a media lead at a large FMCG / consumer brand. [Hands-on experience preferred]
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline. MBA from a tier 1/2 college is good to have.
- Depth across the full media stack: digital, TV, outdoor, print, cinema and on-trade. Comfortable with programmatic, CTV and audio. This role is not digital-only.
- A sharp analytical mind. You know how to interrogate a media plan for reach efficiency, frequency management, audience overlap and measurement quality.
- You are strong in Excel and comfortable with dashboarding tools. Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is a clear advantage, as is exposure to marketing mix modelling.
- You understand the alcohol category in India and its regulatory and media constraints, or can get up to speed quickly.
- The temperament for an onsite, individual contributor role. You will spend your time at the client's office, working closely with their brand teams. That balance takes diplomacy, judgment and comfort with ambiguity.
- You can hold your own in a room with CXOs. Concise, evidenced and willing to disagree with a well-argued case.
Good To Have Skills & Knowledge:
While media planning and strategy is at the core of this role, the skills, experience, and qualifications mentioned below are ancillary, but not optional. We expect enough of an understanding of each to direct the work, and question the outputs, even if you aren't the one building it.
- Comfort with dashboarding tools, and exposure to marketing mix modelling.
- Experience with creator insight tools, social listening platforms and consumer insight platforms / solutions.
- Familiarity with the public data APIs across social platforms, and an understanding of how recurring reporting can be automated – or how to get it done.
- A passion for the entertainment business and a strong understanding of popular culture and internet technology.
Our values:
- We build opportunities for our artists, brands and fans; and it's important for us to be reliable and efficient
- We demonstrate honesty, excellence and commitment to success
- It's not my job is not part of our vocabulary, we even stuff envelopes
- We make mistakes, but only to learn from them to build resilience
- We take care of ourselves and our colleagues
- We are our own managers
- We are committed to equality and inclusion
- We are mindful of the strain on the Earth's resources and are committed to reversing the trends with our behaviors where possible
Thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to go through the opportunity we have to offer.
