Job Description

Job Title: Media Trainee

Experience: Fresher

Department / Function: MSI Department

Location: Delhi

Employment Type: Full Time

Qualification: Graduation/Post-Graduation in Mass Communication

Key Responsibilities

  • Refine, filter, and curate media feeds on a continuous basis to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and consistency of information across all monitored platforms.
  • Systematically review news content to identify irrelevant, incorrect, or duplicated articles and take appropriate corrective action, including trimming, modifying, or excluding content to preserve contextual accuracy.
  • Identity missing or untracked news articles from newspapers and the dashboard, and ensure their timely inclusion through appropriate tagging and categorisation under the relevant authority or concerned entity.
  • Maintain standardised classification and tagging practices to support reliable tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Provide structured editorial support to media, editorial, and journalist teams during content compilation and review processes.
  • Assist in content validation and contextual assessment to ensure factual accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare comprehensive and well-structured reports in line with defined reporting frameworks and quality benchmarks.
  • Ensure overall content integrity by adhering to established editorial guidelines and quality standards at all stages of reporting.

General Terms and Conditions:

  • The candidate must have access to a personal laptop.
  • A stable Wi-Fi or internet connection is mandatory.
  • The candidate should be proficient in Hindi or English; knowledge of both is preferred. Proficiency in any other Indian Language shall be an added advantage.
  • The candidate must have basic computer literacy and be able to operate a laptop independently.
  • The candidate should be willing to work in rotational shifts as per organizational requirements.

Shift structure shall be rotational:

  • Morning Shift: 2:00 AM-10:00 AM
  • Day Shift: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
  • The candidate should be comfortable with rotational weekly offs.
  • 6 working days per week.
