General Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications,Bill of materials and design reports.
Conduct design validation and verification activities. Maintain accurate documentation for design changes, test results, and approvals.
Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
Provide technical support during production, assembly, and troubleshooting.
Identify opportunities for design optimization and cost reduction. Stay updated with industry standards, new technologies, and best practices in valve engineering.
Required Skills Experience Have a minimum 5 yrs of experience in an Engineering Design / Analysis /Scientific / Technical Position. Have at least 2 yrs of Control Valve and/or Safety valve Design Expertise.
Having good knowledge on Nuclear Valves is an advantage Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team.
Have knowledge of control valves and/or safety valves including instrumentation and actuator.
Have good understanding and experience in Valves regarding applications, Material of Construction, Non-Destructive Tests.
Have experience with ASME B16.34 and PED, 3D design (preferable 1 works/Ansys), mechanical design tech writing.
Having basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, welding or cutting etc. is a plus.
Having knowledge in Solidworks, AutoCAD, NX or similar CAD tools. Having knowledge in SAP and Teamcenter.
Preferred Qualifications BE MECHANICAL ENGG.
