Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve mechanical processes and systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Experience with safety protocols and compliance in an industrial environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
