Mechanical Technician

Roles and Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation & Monitoring

• Operate and monitor mechanical equipment and machinery efficiently.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure optimal performance and detect potential issues.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components to restore functionality.

Installation & Commissioning

• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Support setup and calibration of equipment for smooth operations.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain maintenance logs, records, and service reports accurately.
• Report equipment performance, breakdowns, and interventions to supervisors.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Use PPE appropriately and adhere to permit-to-work and safety standards.

.Team Support & Coordination

• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to resolve issues.
• Support production teams by minimizing downtime and participating in overhauls or shutdowns.
