KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking experienced Mechanical and Piping Engineers, Designers, and Modellers with 10-20 years of experience to support onshore, offshore, and FPSO projects in Chennai and Bangalore. The roles focus on delivering high-quality engineering and design solutions across the full asset life cycle, from FEED to detailed design and execution, ensuring optimized and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for static equipment, rotating machinery, mechanical handling systems, and HVAC systems
• Prepare datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, and perform technical bid evaluations for mechanical equipment and packages
• Conduct layout design and integration of mechanical systems with process, piping, and structural disciplines
• Review vendor documentation and provide engineering coordination with contractors and suppliers
• Perform design validation and ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and best practices
• Mentor junior engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer
• Support offshore and onshore project execution with hands-on engineering and modelling expertise

• Static Equipment Engineers (Vessels & Heat Exchangers) – 10-20 years
• Rotating and Package Engineers – 10-20 years
• Mechanical Handling Modellers (Offshore) – 10-20 years
• HVAC Modellers – 10-20 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Piping, or allied Engineering disciplines
• Proven experience in mechanical design, equipment engineering, mechanical handling, or HVAC for onshore, offshore, or FPSO projects
• Proficiency in relevant design and modeling software for 3D/2D engineering and analysis
• Strong knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices
