Mechanical Package Engineer

We are hiring Mechanical Package Engineers

Job Details

1. Location: Gurgaon.
2. Working days: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
3. Preferred background: Industrial EPC, EPCM, or engineering consulting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and review mechanical equipment specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.
2. Coordinate with vendors for technical clarifications, document review, and package engineering activities.
3. Review PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, GA drawings, and vendor drawings.
4. Support package engineering activities for pumps, compressors, vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, skids, and other process plant equipment.
5. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process, piping, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
6. Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
2. Experience in industrial EPC, EPCM, or engineering consulting projects.
3. Strong knowledge of package engineering, technical specifications, datasheets, and vendor coordination.
4. Experience in process plant projects such as oil and gas, petrochemical, power, mining, metals, fertilizers, or other industrial sectors.
5. Good understanding of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and engineering documentation.
