We are seeking a Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer with 6-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC systems for a variety of projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects.
- Perform load calculations and select appropriate equipment based on project specifications.
- Prepare detailed design documentation including plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and compliance with standards.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and support installation activities.
- Implement energy-efficient solutions and adhere to sustainability practices in design.
- Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and standards related to HVAC systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HAP (Hourly Analysis Program).
- Strong understanding of HVAC system components, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, and ductwork.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to HVAC design in India.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
