Description
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in the job market context of India, with a strong focus on mechanical fitting and maintenance. The role requires a high level of skill in precision fitting, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Performing mechanical fitting and assembly work on a variety of machinery, equipment, and systems
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner
- Performing preventative maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment and systems
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job
- Working closely with other team members to ensure that work is completed on time and to the required standard
- Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations, ensuring that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical fitting and maintenance
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques and precision fitting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience with a variety of hand and power tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, and vernier calipers
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
