Job Description

The role focuses on the on-site execution, installation, and commissioning of industrial robotic systems at customer locations. The incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring successful deployment by leading site execution activities, coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, and ensuring strict adherence to safety, compliance, and statutory requirements. This position requires extensive travel to customer sites and hands-on involvement throughout installation, commissioning, and handover phases, supporting smooth project delivery in dynamic site environments.

Mandatory: Mechanical installation experience of industrial robots & heavy structures.

Project roles and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Install industrial robots and lead the on-site execution team.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and customers for robot installation and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and coordinate with the Safety team to avoid hazards during site execution.
  • Oversee site readiness and preparation before installation activities.
  • Coordinate with the Compliance team to ensure all statutory and internal requirements are met.
  • Support smooth handover and commissioning at customer locations.
  • Travel extensively to customer sites as required (approx. 90% site travel).

Goals and deliverables

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience in robot installation and commissioning.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for understanding layouts and drawings.
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety practices and site safety compliance.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (Safety, Compliance, Suppliers, Customers).
  • Ability to lead site teams and manage on-ground execution independently.

Education

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.

Other Requirements

  • Mandatory: Willingness to travel extensively (90% of the role involves site travel).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in dynamic site environments
